Garth Brooks Launches His Own Radio Station on TuneIn

Garth Brooks, one of the best-selling male albums artists in the country, has announced the launch of his own radio station on the global live radio service TuneIn. The BIG 615 station will be curated by the singer himself, and will stream his favorite country music tracks, from classics to new releases. The station’s name is an homage to Music Row, Nashville, the heart of country music, which is often dubbed “Music City.”

The BIG 615 radio station is hosted by popular country music broadcaster Storme Warren, who will be joined by several guest hosts, including Garth himself. The station will lean toward traditional country music, and Brooks believes that country music listeners want to hear the latest from artists like George Strait, Luke Combs, Ashley McBryde, and The Chicks.

The station’s main base will be in Music Row, Nashville, and it will be available on TuneIn. Garth Brooks is a legend in country music and has recruited some of the hottest names in the scene, including Kelsea Ballerini, Ashley McBryde, Dierks Bentley, and Brett Young, to help share the news. His wife, fellow country music legend Trisha Yearwood, also joined the announcement and expressed her pride in her husband’s new adventure.

The launch of the BIG 615 station comes not long after Brooks caused a stir with another one of his latest forays, announcing the opening of his Nashville bar, Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky Tonk, which will serve all kinds of beer. The statement ignited social media backlash from those who were against his decision to serve Bud Light at his bar, a brand that received pushback from many right-wingers after partnering with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney in April.

However, Brooks doubled down on the decision and emphasized his belief in diversity and inclusiveness during his “Inside Studio G” livestream. Brooks believes that diversity is the answer to the problems that are here and the problems that are coming. He loves diversity and wants all to feel welcome. While others may have different opinions and beliefs, Brooks is OK with that, and he has his own beliefs.
