In addition, Ernest’s middle names pay respect to the late George Brooksbank, Jack’s father, and Major Ronald Ferguson, the late father of Sarah, Duchess of York. While Ernest does not possess a royal title, as Jack was not conferred one upon marrying Eugenie, he is affectionately referred to as Master Ernest Brooksbank. Intriguingly, Ernest currently stands as the 13th successor in line to the throne.
