Denver Nuggets’ center Nikola Jokic did a complete 180 on his previous feelings about staying in America for the NBA championship parade before returning to Serbia. He had previously stated that he did not want to stay and parade. However, at the parade, Jokic dropped a few f-bombs while addressing the crowd, saying, “You know that I told [you] that I don’t want to stay and parade, but I f***ing want to stay and parade,” as fans erupted.

Coach Malone Gets Fired Up

Head coach Michael Malone also used NSFW language when he said he’s ready to defend the title next season. “We’re running this s*** back!” he said. It is unclear whether the speeches were influenced by alcohol, but if so, it is advisable to drink some water.

Beer-Chugging Contest

As the team made its way through the streets on firetrucks, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope got into a beer-chugging contest with a fan in the crowd. KCP decided to hop off the truck and down some brews with a lucky supporter and destroyed his competition. The two hugged it out at the end, and the fan lost his mind. However, not everyone was guzzling the beers on hand, as Christian Braun did a sort of Triple H/”Stone Cold” Steve Austin combination by spitting out his drink as his truck cruised down the street.

Finals MVP Nikola Jokic had his whole family with him for the celebration, so he was on his best behavior, but fans were hoping he would let loose a bit. The parade ended at Civic Center Park, where the team held its rally.
