Britney Spears’ Sons Move to Hawaii with Their Father Kevin Federline

Britney Spears recently shared a throwback photo on Instagram of herself holding her youngest son, Jayden, while walking through a parking lot. This comes after reports surfaced that her two sons, Sean and Jayden, wanted to move to Hawaii with their father, Kevin Federline. Federline, who is currently married to Victoria Prince, has DJ opportunities in Hawaii, while Prince has a job offer at a university there. Federline reportedly sent a letter via his lawyer to ask Spears if she would be open to the boys leaving Los Angeles for Hawaii. Sources say that if Spears objected, Federline would ask permission from a judge, who would likely rule in his favor since the boys want to leave town and they haven’t seen their mom in over a year.

Britney’s Attorney Approves of the Move

Britney Spears’ attorney, Mathew Rosengart, recently revealed that she would “not interfere with and consents to” Federline moving with their sons. Rosengart, who was contacted about the move in April, did not anticipate a dispute and urged Federline to keep the matter “private for the sake and dignity of all parties involved, including the children.” Despite Spears being ok with the move, her fans think Federline is relocating to Hawaii because of the state’s extended child support laws. Child support can be ordered for children up to the age of 23 in Hawaii if they are enrolled full-time in either an accredited college or university or a vocational or trade school.

The Background of Britney and Federline’s Relationship

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline tied the knot in October 2004 but called it quits three years later. Federline is dad to four other children: daughters Jordan and Peyton, whom he shares with Prince, and daughter Kori and son Kaleb, whom he shares with ex-fiancée Shar Jackson. Federline wed Prince in August 2013, while Spears tied the knot with Sam Asghari in June 2022.

Britney Spears’ sons, Sean and Jayden, will be moving to Hawaii with their father, Kevin Federline, due to his DJ opportunities and his wife’s job offer at a university. Spears has given her consent to the move and her attorney urged Federline to keep the matter private for the sake of their children. While some fans think Federline is relocating to Hawaii due to the state’s child support laws, the move is likely for employment opportunities.
