Among the celebrity attendees were Nick Jonas, Ludacris, Roger Federer, Serena Williams, Patrick Mahomes, Vin Diesel, and “Hips Don’t Lie Singer” Shakira. Shakira was spotted in deep conversation with Tom Cruise, who is reportedly single, during the race. The sighting has already launched speculation over a potential romance between the two.

Shakira Honored at the Billboard Latin Women in Music Gala
The night before the Miami race, Shakira attended the 2023 Billboard Mujeres Latinas en la Música Gala at the Watsco Center. She was honored with the Mujer del Año award and wore a tiny, figure-hugging little black dress with a cut-out across her thigh and strappy black heels. In her speech, she talked about dealing with infidelity and loyalty, womanhood, and the search for authenticity. She also emphasized the strength and independence of women.
