Last June, Archie and Lilibet visited the UK during the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Although the royal family did not attend the tea party, Harry’s maternal aunts, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes, were among the guests. Frogmore Cottage holds sentimental value for Prince Harry and Meghan as it was the place where Archie spent the first few months of his life. However, the couple made the decision to temporarily move to Canada before settling in their current family home in Montecito, California, in 2020. The move was officially sanctioned by King Charles. It was in Montecito that the Sussexes welcomed their daughter, Lilibet Diana, on 4 June 2021, at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
Earlier this year, Prince Harry and Meghan confirmed their decision to continue using their children’s royal titles following Charles’s accession to the throne. They also shared the news of Lilibet’s christening, which took place at their California home. The royal family did not attend the ceremony, but Harry’s maternal aunts were among the guests, highlighting the importance of family in the Sussexes’ lives.
While Prince Harry and Meghan’s last joint visit to the UK was in September, several solo trips have brought Harry back to his homeland. He attended his father’s Coronation in May and recently made a visit to attend the WellChild Awards. However, Harry’s visits to the UK have been overshadowed by the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, which led to an extended stay. Despite the challenges, Harry has made an effort to maintain connections and support various causes close to his heart.
During the Invictus Games in Germany, Prince Harry celebrated his 39th birthday. In an exclusive report by HELLO!, it was revealed that Harry and Meghan treated their Archewell team to a special dinner at a restaurant in central Dusseldorf. The crowd at the Games also joined in the celebrations, singing Happy Birthday to the prince. The Mayor of Dusseldorf presented Harry with a beautifully crafted cake, symbolizing the warmth and appreciation felt for his presence at the event.
