Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Nicole Scherzinger were among the performers who entertained the crowd with ballet, opera, classical music, and pop tunes. Perry performed “Roar” and “Firework” in a gold ballgown from Vivienne Westwood, while Scherzinger sang her own version of Christina Aguilera’s “Reflection” from Disney’s “Mulan.” Richie played The Commodores’ classic “Easy” on a black baby grand piano, followed by his own hit “All Night Long (All Night).”
Royals Attend the Concert
King Charles III was seen waving to concertgoers throughout the royal soirée, seated beside his wife Queen Camilla and his son Prince William, who was joined by his wife Kate Middleton. The Prince of Wales also made an appearance on stage to praise his father and his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. Princess Charlotte and Prince George were also present at the concert, but their youngest sibling, Louis, stayed home.
