Royal Family Members Attend Pre-Coronation Events

On May 6th, the night before King Charles’ coronation, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, along with Zara Tindall, attended Oswalds, a private member’s club. Eugenie wore a wine red velvet robe coat and was joined by her husband Jack Brooksbank, while Zara wore a navy velvet blazer with smart trousers and a loose shirt, accompanied by her husband Mike Tindall. Beatrice wore a Louis Vuitton chain-print midi dress and black blazer. The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Prince Andrew, and Princess Anne, along with Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, were also in attendance.

Pre-Coronation Reception

Prince Charles, along with the Prince and Princess of Wales, hosted a reception at Buckingham Palace for overseas guests, including world leaders such as British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and US First Lady Jill Biden. The King was joined by his son and daughter-in-law, who mingled with foreign royals, including Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, and King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain. Prince William wore a suit, and Princess Kate looked elegant in a royal blue dress by Self Portrait with the Queen Mother’s diamond and sapphire fringe earrings. However, Queen Consort Camilla did not attend the reception or the coronation rehearsals, as she took the opportunity to rest ahead of the big day. Prince Harry has not been pictured at the rehearsals or reception, but it is believed that he has arrived in the UK for his father’s coronation. Newly-released images show a private jet from Van Nuys airport in California landing at Farnborough, the airport closest to Windsor Castle.
