Kylie Jenner unable to enter 2023 Met Gala after-party due to overcapacity

Witnesses have reported that the 2023 Met Gala after-party hosted by hospitality guru Richie Akiva, Doja Cat, and Diddy at the Box was overcrowded, leading to chaos and some guests, including Kylie Jenner, being turned away. A source has stated that the party reached capacity, leaving over 100 people clamoring to get in, causing a chaotic scene. Kylie Jenner arrived after midnight to meet up with her sister Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny, who were already inside. She was a welcome VIP, but due to the number of people already inside the party, she was unable to get in.

Kylie Jenner decides to leave early

One source claims that Kylie Jenner got out of her car prematurely and decided to go home because she didn’t want to be part of the crowded party. According to the source, Kylie rarely goes to clubs. Other celebrities, such as Janelle Monae and Evan Mock, were also turned away due to the door being closed because of capacity.

VIP guests at the party

Despite the overcrowding, some celebrities managed to make it inside the venue, including Gisele Bündchen, Emily Ratajkowski, Mary J Blige, Lil Nas X, Paris Hilton, and Anna Wintour’s daughter, Bee Carrozzini. Naomi Campbell was seen hanging out with British Vogue editor Edward Enninful, while Jared Leto toted around the giant head of his Choupette the cat costume. Co-host Diddy got on the mic for 20 minutes, and Teyana Taylor did a surprise performance. Comedian Chris Rock was also seen hitting the dance floor, and the waiters were dressed like Met Gala honoree, Karl Lagerfeld. Despite the party being over capacity, it was still a star-studded event.
