Former Secret Service officer, Marshall Mirarchi, who has dealt with other First Dogs, has expressed doubts about whether President Biden’s dog, Commander, is receiving the proper obedience training. In an interview with “TMZ Live,” Mirarchi, who worked in the Secret Service’s K-9 division during Biden’s tenure as vice president in the Obama administration, explained why he is skeptical about Commander’s legitimate graduation from obedience school.
According to Mirarchi, dogs never reach a point of no return when it comes to training, even for repeat offenders like Commander. He claims that dogs can always be retrained, although the time it takes for a dog to align again can vary. This suggests that Commander’s behavior could be corrected with the proper guidance and training.
Despite the claims made by the administration, Marshall believes that all indications point to Commander not receiving the appropriate direction. This raises concerns about the effectiveness of the current training methods being used.
