Bravo’s “Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard” features four former Playboy Club Bunnies who met in New York City and have been “forever bonded” ever since. Jasmine Cooper, Jordan Emanuel, Shanice Henderson, and Bria Fleming all worked together at the club, and Cooper’s husband Silas says that his wife’s experience there has created an unbreakable bond between the women.
A Rocky Journey Leading up to Playboy
Cooper, a screenwriter, reveals that she scored the job at the Playboy Club after a difficult summer of homelessness with her best friend Mariah Torres. This trying time ultimately inspired Cooper and Torres to create a TV pilot called “Rock Bottom.” Cooper sharpened her creative skills while working at the Playboy Club to make ends meet, and the club became a place of safety and fun for her during a challenging period in her life.
A Family Bond
After leaving the Playboy Club, Cooper met Silas, who also stars in “Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard.” The couple got married shortly before filming began for the show, which follows 12 friends as they reunite in Martha’s Vineyard. During the two-week vacation, Silas witnessed the strong family bond between the former Bunnies and realized that they were more than just friends to his wife. He encouraged Cooper to rely on her “sisters” during any difficult moments in the house.

“Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard” premieres on Bravo on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET.
