Country Singer Jimmie Allen Faces Second Sexual Assault Allegation

Country music star Jimmie Allen faces a second lawsuit for sexual assault and abuse. The lawsuit was filed in a Tennessee federal court by an unidentified woman known as Jane Doe No. 2. This comes after the singer’s former manager filed a similar lawsuit against him last month.

The Allegations

According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Jane Doe No. 2 alleges that she met Allen on a plane in 2022. The two engaged in daily long-distance communication, during which Allen allegedly lied about being separated from his wife and expressed his desire to marry her. The romance took a dark turn during a trip to Las Vegas in July 2022, where Allen allegedly sexually assaulted her in his hotel room and then passed out.

The woman claims that she was extremely upset and noticed that Allen had been videotaping the entire event without her consent. She was unable to wake Allen up to delete the recording, so she took his phone and brought it to the police. She is suing for assault, battery, invasion of privacy, and infliction of emotional distress.

The Lawyer’s Statement

Speaking to Page Six, Elizabeth Fegan, the attorney representing Jane Doe No. 2, says that her client’s lawsuit demonstrates a pattern of deceit, manipulation, and ultimately, force. She emphasizes that the law is clear: anyone who has given consent in sexual activity has the right and the ability to revoke consent at any time. She adds that if one participant doesn’t stop, it is sexual assault.

Response from Jimmie Allen

Allen’s representatives and attorney have yet to comment on the second lawsuit. However, the singer issued a statement last month in response to his former manager’s claims. Allen admitted to having a sexual relationship with his former manager for two years, but denied her allegations of sexual abuse and assault. He claimed that his former lover’s claims were false and extremely damaging. He vowed to mount a vigorous defense to her claims and take all other legal action necessary to protect his reputation.

These allegations come amid a growing number of sexual assault and abuse allegations against well-known figures in the entertainment industry. The #MeToo movement has given victims of sexual assault and abuse a platform to speak out against their abusers, and it has led to a greater awareness of the prevalence of sexual misconduct. It remains to be seen how Jimmie Allen will respond to these allegations, and whether they will have an impact on his career.
