Chris Larangeira has shared a positive message about his ex-wife Angelina Pivarnick’s engagement to Vinny Tortorella. The Staten Island sanitation worker posted on his Instagram Story, saying that he wishes Pivarnick “nothing but the best”. Larangeira’s post is in response to those who have accused him of being bitter or resentful towards his ex-wife. He acknowledged that while he may joke around at times, he is “very happy” for Pivarnick and her fiancé. Larangeira concluded his post by reminding everyone that “life is too short to live with anger and have hate in your heart”.

Angelina Pivarnick said “yes” to Vinny Tortorella’s proposal at her November 2022 “divorce party”. The couple kept the news under wraps until it aired in an April episode of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation”. Pivarnick and Tortorella made their red carpet debut as a couple in February, although it is unclear when they began dating. Pivarnick was previously married to Chris Larangeira, with whom she dated for three years before tying the knot in November 2019. However, she filed for divorce in January 2021 due to allegations of infidelity on both sides, a lack of intimacy, and Larangeira’s decision to temporarily move out. Despite going to couples therapy, they were not able to save their marriage, and Larangeira ended up filing his own paperwork in January 2022. The divorce was finalized in May.
Pivarnick was shocked when Tortorella proposed to her at her “divorce party” and showed off her diamond ring on social media. Meanwhile, Larangeira has been documenting his post-split “healing” journey on social media, making jokes about being ready to start getting yelled at again. Despite their divorce, Larangeira has shown that he holds no resentment towards his ex-wife and her fiancé. He reminds us all to let go of anger and hate and to love everyone each day we are alive.
