Bill Hader, the voice actor behind BB-8 in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” revealed during a recent “Happy, Sad, Confused” podcast episode that he will no longer sign memorabilia. Hader explained that he witnessed a man using his son to obtain an autograph of the character, only to sell it online. The incident occurred after an “Inside Out” premiere afterparty, and since then, the comedian has refused to sign any merchandise.
Hader Prefers Professional Questions and Keeps Private Life Private
Although Hader has been linked to actresses Rachel Bilson and Anna Kendrick in the past, he prefers to keep his personal life out of the public eye. He and actress Ali Wong briefly split last year, but they decided to reconcile and were recently seen celebrating Hader’s 41st birthday together, showing some PDA.
In interviews, Hader has expressed that he prefers to receive new questions, stating that he has answered the same questions about his shows many times before. He also prefers to keep questions professional and avoid those about his personal life.
