Kelly Clarkson, the former American Idol winner, recently revealed that she never received a push present from her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock when she gave birth to their daughter River, 8, and son Remington, 7, in 2014 and 2016, respectively.

During an episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” Priyanka Chopra and Carey Hart explained the concept of a push present to the host. Clarkson admitted that she didn’t receive any gifts from Blackstock when she gave birth to their children and said that “that should have been a red flag.”
Clarkson’s Response To Chopra’s Comment
When Chopra noted that “when you have a baby, you should get a gift,” Clarkson jokingly responded by saying “the baby” was the reward. She also playfully said “Screw you, Pink,” after learning that the “So What” singer received a motorcycle from Hart after their son’s birth.
Divorce Album and Custody Battle
Clarkson and Blackstock were married for seven years before filing for divorce in 2020. The former couple took two years to settle their acrimonious divorce, with Clarkson being awarded primary custody of their children and their Montana ranch.
Clarkson is set to release a divorce album titled “Chemistry” this month. She explained that the album covers “the good, the bad and the ugly” of her relationship with Blackstock. The album’s title is a reference to the idea that chemistry can be both a positive and negative force in a relationship. Clarkson also referenced Blackstock in her recent song “Me,” calling him “somebody who feels weak standing next to” her.
