New Details Emerge in the Death of Stephen “tWitch” Boss

The death of Stephen “tWitch” Boss has been shrouded in mystery since he was found dead on December 13, 2022, at the Oak Tree Inn in Encino, California. New details have emerged in an autopsy and police report obtained by The Post, revealing that the dancer did not have any drugs or alcohol in his system at the time of his death.

The autopsy and police report also revealed that Boss’ widow, Allison Holker, told officers that “to her knowledge, [Boss] does not have a history of suicide attempts or suicidal ideation.” She also told them that Boss did “not have any mental health problems, does not have any financial issues or marital problems.”

The Los Angeles County medical examiner ruled Boss’ death a suicide by a gunshot to the head, but the autopsy showed “no signs of foul play,” and the case has been closed.

West Valley Division officers responded to a call from the Inn at around 11:20 a.m. local time, where they found the 40-year-old in the bathroom of his room. Staff at the motel told TMZ that he didn’t seem “visibly” upset when he checked in the night before with an overnight bag.

Boss’ death has left his family and fans devastated. Holker, who celebrated her ninth wedding anniversary with Boss just days before his death, reported his disappearance to the police after she noticed he had left their home without his car.

“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us,” Holker, 35, told People. “Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.”

Boss and Holker shared daughters Weslie, 14, and Zaia, 3, and son Maddox, 7. They had plans to expand their family prior to his passing.

The news of Boss’ death has come as a shock to those who knew him, as he was known for his infectious energy and positive outlook on life. Boss was a popular DJ and dancer and had achieved success in both areas, including his role in the movie “Magic Mike XXL.”

While the autopsy and police report have shed some light on the circumstances surrounding Boss’ death, it is still unclear what led him to take his own life. The news of his passing has sparked an outpouring of love and support from his fans and colleagues, who remember him as a kind and generous person who brought joy to everyone he met.

The loss of Stephen “tWitch” Boss is a reminder of the importance of mental health and the need to support those who may be struggling. While the reasons behind his death may never be fully understood, his legacy as a talented and beloved performer will live on.
