Los Angeles prosecutors have announced that actor Armie Hammer will not face charges following a lengthy sexual assault investigation. Meanwhile, his ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers has been moving on from their divorce and the scandal that surrounded it.
After ten years of marriage, Chambers and Hammer divorced in 2020. They share two children, daughter Harper and son Ford. Chambers largely stayed out of the spotlight following the first accusations of sexual assault, which came from a woman identified as Effie back in 2017. However, earlier this year, she spoke to Elle Magazine about her new life post-Armie.
“I’m in love,” she said. She also revealed that she has moved on from the toxic relationship with Hammer and that she is not defined by his actions. She refuses to let someone else’s actions make her angry or affect her life.
Chambers is now in a new relationship with physio and wellness therapist Ricardas Kazinec, who is originally from Lithuania. Like Chambers and her children, Kazinec also lives in the Cayman Islands.
Chambers is focusing on her bakery, Bird, which she opened in San Antonio in 2012. Bird follows in the footsteps of her grandmother Maureen, who ran a catering business in the same Texas city, and her mother Judy, who owned one of the city’s first natural-food stores. Chambers is working on her first cookbook and has made appearances on both the Food Network and the Today Show. She has also opened the first international location of Bird in the Cayman Islands.
Chambers is also working on an unscripted television series with the true crime channel Investigation Discovery. She will host a show on “toxic relationships,” according to Deadline.
Chambers has defined her new era as one where she’s “not taking any bull[expletive] from anyone.” She stands up for what she deserves and what she knows is right. She has moved on from the scandal surrounding her ex-husband and is thriving in her new life.
