Hargitay spoke to Page Six about the importance of Central Park in her life, stating that it gave her “freedom and space” when she first moved to New York. She donned a beige hat with a bow, borrowed from a friend, and promised to represent next year with her own hat. Wentworth, a regular park-goer, built her entire outfit around her flower fascinator.
Former Mayor Michael Bloomberg Attends and Supports Central Park
Former Mayor Michael Bloomberg was also in attendance, mingling with guests and promoting the park. Bloomberg has been a regular at the event for years and believes that Central Park is what differentiates New York from other places in the world. He stated, “There is no such thing as a better park.
